As If in the darkness - 白昼の空色 (Hakuchuu no Sorairo)

Lyrics: mar
Music: 有希(Yuuki)

Kanji:

Translation: Midday's Sky Blue
Afraid of touch, a scar of bygone forgotten days locks itself in the heart
Melting together, the touch of those counted fingers, is a sky blue connecting to the depths of pain[1]

The rust-covered hand of a clock comes to a stop again, afraid of starting to move
Feeling gently, the shadow of time that looks back, in a transparent midday’s sky

If the glory of a believed future also ends, it turns into mere ashes, however
In the locked up heart of his, just a little is fine
For the strength to live, for the strength to live, for the strength to live[2]

Again, in the flow of a new age
Leave everything to it, the state of flow where it arrives at

Ride upon the winds
Dissolve into water
Flow towards the ocean
And return[3] to the sky
Eternally

The rust-covered hand of a clock comes to a stop again, afraid of starting to move
Feeling gently, the shadow of time that looks back, in a transparent midday’s sky

The rust-covered hand of a clock comes to a stop again, afraid of starting to move
Feeling gently, the shadow of time that looks back, in a transparent midday’s sky

Notes:
Just clarifying that the "sky blue" in the title refers to the color, and not the blue sky.
[1] I am not really sure if I translated this whole line correctly.
[2] Some meaning is lost in translation. The phrase indicates that something wants to be done with "the strength to live", but it doesn't clarify what. One way to look at it is that whatever is done with "the strength to live" is left up to the person itself.
[3] The word used here is "還る"(kaeru), which is slightly different from the common "帰る"(kaeru) that refers to "returning back to one's home". The former kaeru refers to returning back to its origin or original form.
