music: tosinn
Kanji:地雷
It’s not myself. (自分自信のことではない)
I can’t spend anymore time on it. (それに構っている程暇じゃない)
So, I’m “a normal indifferent man”. (そう私は「普通の無関心」な人間です)
To say nothing to me, (言われなくても解ってるよ)
What a fool man he is. (何あいつ馬鹿じゃない)
How fool he is. (あいつは馬鹿だ)
What a fucking fool he is. (馬鹿じゃねぇの)
He is saying only grumble. (出るあいせつは愚痴ばかり)
So, I have “an inferiority complex toward white”. (そう私は「白人コンプレックス」な人間です)
I use “mother country”, to get along with others. (都合に合わせて「母国」を使う)
Day after day… (来る日も来る日も…)
I’m passive for others. (私は他人に受け身だ)
I’m afraid that I live without comparing with others. (自分と他人とを定規で計りながら生きないと不安だ)
“I love myself”, somebody said on TV. (「自分自信が大好きです」とTVで誰かが言っていた)
Day after day… (来る日も来る日も…)
動かずに 威圧する
受け入れず 孤立する
What the hell are you, really? (『本当のお前は何なんだ?!』)
Hey you! I’m talking about yourself. (お前だよ!てめぇの事言ってんだよ!)
Hey you! Your turn to be trodden. (お前だよ!てめぇが踏まれる番なんだよ!)
Day after day… (来る日も来る日も…)
*note: Japanese versions of the english verses were provided in the booklet. I put them in parentheses for those who are interested. Anything outside of the parentheses is what Nigu actually sings. See below for my own translation of the Japanese versions, as some of the english don't sound clear and lose meaning.
Romaji: Jirai
ugokazu ni iatsu suru
ukeirezu koritsu suru
Translation: Land Mine
Threaten without moving
Isolate without acceptance
Translation of Japanese Version (full):
It's not of my concern.
I can't spend anymore time on it.
Yes, I'm a "normal man of apathy".
I know, even without you telling me.
Isn't he a fool.
What a fool he is.
A fucking fool he is.
All he says are complaints.
Yes, I'm a person intimidated by "white supremacy"[1]
I use my "mother country" for my own convenience.
Day after day...
I'm passive towards others.
I get insecure if I live without comparing myself to others.
Somebody once said on TV, "I love myself."
Day after day...
Threaten without moving
Isolate without acceptance
What the hell are you, really?!
Hey you! I'm talking to you!
Hey you! Your turn to be trodden on!
Day after day...
[1] This part is written as "白人コンプレックス", literally translated as "white complex" but means "white supremacy". I wasn't sure how to word this whole phrase really...
Extra notes: The title of the song means "land mine", but it can also refer to "a topic that sets one off"; a sensitive topic that one should not talk about, just like how one should not step on a land mine.
