As If in the darkness - アローン (Alone)

Lyrics: mar
Music: Zumi

Kanji:

Translation: Alone
A foggy field of vision and a downpour of filtering sunlight
I can see from the gaps of my held out fingers shading my eyes

Rays of light illuminate the darkness
And I could faintly see the things I lost sight of

My drowned out voice barely echoes
My heartbeat can be heard in a stir

Listening carefully, I close my eyes, and feel
Yes, because I know everything already

The reverberations do not end,[1] it merely echoes across
Over there, what do I do, and where do I go

Repeatedly, repeatedly, I screamed, whenever I’m here
Unable to return, unable to return, to the path, deep in my consciousness

With things that repeat without meaning
The ringing in my ears continue incessantly
Even so, I’ll walk this path, and if I can take back the things I lost sight of

The path[2]…I cannot go back to
The meanings…I lost

…repeat them to me[3]

Notes:
[1] In the original Japanese it literally means "it's not the end of reverberations", but I felt that it didn't flow very well with the following sentence so translated it this way instead.
[2] Written as "道"(michi) which I translated as "path", but mar sings "toki", which means "time".
[3] I had trouble translating this line because the one word used here, "繰り返して"(kurikaeshite), can have multiple meanings depending on how you look at it. However, I'm most certain that mar is expressing it in a commanding way, in that he wants something "repeated" to him. In this case, that something is the things referred to above in the preceding lines.
